This Policy covers the social networking website and mobile apps (featuring user profiles, activity feed, groups, messaging, notifications, media uploads, and forums) represented by the name “Thanks Social”.
The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn this occurred, we delete it.
We collect the following categories:
Account and profile
Name, display name, username, password, email.
Profile details you add (bio, links, location, avatar, cover image, interests).
Content and activity
Posts, comments, reactions, messages, group and forum activity, media you upload, and associated timestamps and metadata.
Connections and preferences
Friends/following, group memberships, notification settings, content preferences.
Communications
Support requests, reports, feedback, and related metadata.
Device and usage
IP address, device IDs, operating system, app version, browser, language, time zone, referral URLs, pages/screens viewed, events, crash and diagnostics logs, and cookie or local storage identifiers.
Mobile permissions
Push notifications.
Camera/Photos for avatar and media uploads.
Microphone for audio/video posts.

Social login data from Google/Apple/Facebook: name, email, profile ID/token.

Legal and safety: to comply with law, enforce terms, or protect rights and safety.
Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice where required.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data for cross‑context behavioral advertising.

Account and profile data: kept while your account is active.
Content: kept until you delete it or delete your account.
Logs and diagnostics: kept for 12 months unless needed longer for security, fraud prevention, or legal reasons.
We delete or anonymize data when it is no longer needed.

Change notification and privacy settings in the app or site.
Delete posts, media, and messages you control.

Withdraw consent at any time in settings or by contacting us.
Opt out of marketing in emails or app settings.
Manage cookies and similar tech via https://thanks.social/ and your browser.
California and certain US state laws: You may have rights to know, access, delete, correct, and opt out of “sharing” for targeted advertising. Submit requests at https://thanks.social/contact-us/ or email support@serving.one. We do not discriminate for exercising rights. If we “share” data for targeted ads, we honor Global Privacy Control signals.
We use cookies, local storage, and mobile SDKs for sign‑in, security, preferences, analytics, and performance. You can control non‑essential cookies in https://thanks.social/. The Services do not respond to “Do Not Track” signals. We honor GPC as noted above where required.
We apply administrative, technical, and physical safeguards suited to our Services. No system is perfectly secure. Report issues to support@serving.one.
Content you post may be visible to others per your settings and may be indexed or shared by them. Do not upload sensitive data (e.g., health, financial, government IDs) to public areas.
We use automated systems for ranking, recommendations, spam and abuse detection, and moderation triage. These do not produce legal or similarly significant effects without human review.
Links to third‑party sites and services have their own policies. We are not responsible for them.
You can delete your account here: Account → Settings → Delete Account. Deleting your account removes your profile and restricts or deletes associated content subject to backups, legal holds, and others’ interactions (for example, messages in others’ inboxes).
We will update this Policy when needed. We will notify you by posting the revised Policy and updating the effective date, and by additional notice where required.
Profiles & Activity: Profile fields you choose to add are visible per your privacy settings.
Messaging: Private messages are visible to participants and to authorized moderators if needed for abuse handling.
Groups & Forums: Posts may be public, private, or hidden based on group/forum settings.
Media uploads: Uploaded photos, videos, and files inherit the visibility of the area you post to.
Notifications: We send in‑app and push notifications for mentions, messages, follows, group activity, and similar events.
Push provider: We use Apple/Google push via Pusher to deliver notifications. Device tokens are used only to send notifications.
Analytics/Crash reporting: We use Amazon Web Services to measure usage and improve stability.
US state privacy laws: Methods for verified consumer requests: https://thanks.social/contact-us/, 1-719-345-1337. Categories collected in the last 12 months are listed in Section 4. We disclose these to service providers for business purposes as in Section 7. We do not sell personal data.
